Abigail Walker

Hi! My name is Abigail Walker. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and recently graduated from Georgia State University. After earning my degree in Sociology I chose to spend “just the summer” living out of my car in the Red River Gorge. Despite the heat and humidity, I quickly fell in love with the community of climbers here and knew I needed to stay.

That summer I chose to purse my AMGA Single Pitch Instructor certification, and through the winter I honed my skills as well as built out a van that I now call home. While I hope to travel the country someday and see all the classic climbs across the US, for now I’m proud to call the Red home.

When I’m not climbing, you may catch me painting on my van, playing with my tripawd dog, Chicken Little, or perfecting my espresso technique
